In 2018, MedGasX was form out of a need to meet and sustain quality of care in the Dental Community's Medical Gas System. By following Manufacturer and ADA recommendations, we inspect your Nitrous equipment to insure years of safe and reliable use. In doing so, you can provide your patients with the upmost quality of care without having to worry about the safety aspect. Letting you do your job knowing your Med Gas Equipment is always accurate and ready to go.
We offer a complete line of testing that follows the Manufacturer and ADA Recommendations of every 2 years. We support all of the Major Brands of Flowmeters and Nitrous Equipment (Porter, Matrx, Accutron, and Belmed) What all safety features are tested:
1. The internal Failsafe
2. Callibration
3. Scavenger System and Breathing Circuit
4. Emergency air intake and rebreather valve
We offer continued Inservices on your equipment. In the ever-changing world of dental, turnover happens. By continuing to have staff trained, not only do procedures take less time and are more effective, your equipment is used properly maintaining its Longevity.
With Dental Dealers and Service Departments covering everything within your office(s), hardly any of them are not Medical Gas Certified on gas systems. This is where our team of technicians, their equipment, and their knowledge and can address your problem and get it right the first time. All of our Technicians are ASSE 6005 certified and work under ASSE 6040 licensed technicians
We only use equipment design to be used on your medical gas system. Most service Departments, if any, do not have the right equipment to properly diagnose a problem and certify your equipment. This is what we do. It is all we do.
We work and design a plan that is best for your specific needs. We have your concerns and needs in mind and come up with several plans to meet those needs, please reach out for more information.
We offer several different type of pricing. We currently work with locally owned 1 office setups where they call to setup appointments to large DSO type practices where we constantly are checking and maintaining their equimpent thru the course of the year. Pricing is specific to the needs of each office and need. But typically we have found, what you charge in just a week or two for nitrous use covers your office and all of your equipment for the whole year.
If you're a DSO, you are probably already having your equipment checked every two years (Per Manufacturer and ADA Recommendations). MedGasX just takes this process a step or two further. Your are probably dealing with regional companies doing it "Their" way instead of The MedGasX way. The MedGasX way is the most in depth testing on the market. You know by going with MedGasX your equipment is maintained at the highest standard. Given what you are already being charged on a regional level, sometimes we have found our service will actually save you money. Of course there are many factors that go into the cost for our service, but it's very easy to find out what the cost would be. Just reach out and we can get a quote put together for you. See below at some of the other things we offer in our Partnership Programs.
This is IMPORTANT. Most, if not all, DSO utilize the 2 year certification process on a regional level. Meaning you have 20+ different companies checking your equipment 20+ different ways. With our designed procedures and reporting, you as a DSO will get uniformed testing and results over all of your offices, not 20 different companies doing it 20 different ways. We follow all manufacturer and ADA recommendations insuring your equipment is working properly and safely and only use ASSE 6000 Medical Gas Certified Technicians. *Flowmeters do go bad* The level of bad can vary, but over time most will go bad. This can be simply the calibration being off (I.e. Shows you're flowing 50% but actually flowing 60% Nitrous) to a complete internal failure (This being the internal components have failed making the flowmeter too dangerous to use) What do each of these situations look like? That's just it, they don't. This is why preventive maintenance and testing should be done.
Our ASSE 6000 trained MedGas Technicians perform inservice on equipment and proper use to your staff continually. This means your staff always meets and exceed standards of care in administering Nitrous. By our continued training, we provide your staff with the knowledge and confidence to continue to use all aspects of your Nitrous Equipment. This is extremely beneficial in the DSO environment where turnover sometimes causes the staff to quit using the equipment. Your office will have a specific technician assigned to that office, so the staff will know their technician first hand and they are always a phone call away.
Your offices assigned Technician is available for questions and concerns as the arise. We know thru the course of the year, there will be periodic questions or concerns that pop up. Most of these can be addressed over the phone by simply walking thru the issue and addressing the problem. It is all about knowing your system and making it make sense to your staff. If the problem is more complexed, a visit is in store. Our testing, inservice, etc are all included in your Partnership Plan. Quit paying for unrelated service calls by non certified technicians. Get the problem fixed the first time.
This is what keeps us up at night. Currently most, if not all DSO's utilize services to check their Equipment every two years. But that is about all they do. They come in, test the equipment, then hand the results over to the office manager and they are on to the next office. We refuse to do the minimum here, it is simply too dangerous. We do share results with the office, but we take it to the next step and have a corporate compliance officer we report to as well. By an "All Hands on Deck" approach, nothing will slip thru the cracks. In most severe instances, when we find something too dangerous to use, at minimum we disconnect the flowmeter and hand it to the office manager. This insures the severe problem draws the appropriate attention and safety is our #1 concern. If a loaner is available, one will be put in place while the solution is determined.
Each Flowmeter will receive their 2 year test results after each visit along with a label on the flowmeter showing when the calibration was done and when the next time it is due. A copy of these results will be left with the office and a copy will be kept and filed at MedGasX. If corporate would like a copy as well, that is something we can do as well.
Our DSO Partnership Plans are designed as just that, A Partnership. Together we will make sure all aspects of your nitrous system remains in use and done in a safe manner. Pricing is determined by a variety of different things. Also, keep in mind, most offices are already paying for this service on a regional level. We took what you are currently doing and made it better by tailoring it to your large scale need. We have found in what the office charges per patient over a week or two, basically covers your cost for the entire program. But we have also found with the continued training MedGasX provides to their customer their nitrous usage goes up increasing revenue. We see it as this... If we can make sure your offices are using equipment that is safe and effective along with providing your staff the knowledge and confidence to use the equipment, usage will only go up. If usage increases roughly by 15 patients a year per office, you have basically paid for our services. Anything above those 15 would simply be ROI in your company. Also, keep in mind, you probably are already paying to have your equipment tested, we just simply bring it all under one roof and allow more transparency and followup.
